Assad: Russia, Syria and Iran have similar views on Syrian conflict

Syria, Iran and Russia have the same position on the resolution of the Syrian conflict, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said.

"Syria, Iran and Russia see eye-to-eye regarding this conflict," Interfax-Azerbaijan cited him as saying.

Moscow and Tehran "want to have balance in the world," Assad said.

"It's about the future of the world. Russia and Iran want to be great powers that have their own say on the future of this world," he pointed out.

The heads of these countries "want stability and a political solution", Bashar al-Assad stressed.
