Davutoglu: act of terror could be reason for power failure in Turkey

An act of terror could be the reason for the power failure in about 30 cities of Turkey, the TRT Haber news channel cited Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu as saying.According to him, the causes of the power outage in these cities are being established.As Vestnik Kavkaza reported, the electricity supply to Turkey’s major cities, such as Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, stopped at 10:36 local time.The subways in these cities also stopped working as well as the traffic lights.Work is under way to resume the electricity supply.
