Azerbaijan promotes its tourism potential in St. Petersburg

The General Consulate of Azerbaijan in St. Petersburg has held a presentation of the country’s touristic potential, 12 Russian 

Russian mass media organisations attended the presentation, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism said.“The General Consul of Azerbaijan in St. Petersburg, Elshad Gulamov spoke at the presentation about tourism opportunities and conditions and presented a 13-minute movie on Azerbaijan,” abc.az cited the Ministry.Earlier, the Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev said that last year the number of tourists arriving from CIS countries reduced due to the unstable political situation and the Ministry intends to intensify promotion of the country’s tourism opportunities among potential tourists.
