Azerbaijan and Pakistan will create a joint business council for trade development. Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce of Pakistan Muhammad Waseem Vohra stated this.

"There is great potential for the development of bilateral trade with Azerbaijan, especially in trade of rice, textile, plastic, chemicals and agricultural products," the Pakistani newspaper Express Tribune quoted him.

During a recent visit by Vohra to Azerbaijan, the chambers of commerce of the two countries signed a memorandum of understanding. The government of Pakistan attaches great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan, which is clearly shown by the number of delegates that accompanied the head of Pakistan Mamnun Hussein during his visit to Baku, the vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce noted.
