State Security Service of Ukraine to lose 4000 employees

The State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) will be reduced by 4000 employees (15%). This was announced today by the head of the SBU, Valentin Nalyvaychenko.

"I made a proposal, and the President supported it. A bill to reduce the maximum size of the SBU from 31 to 27 thousand has been introduced to the Parliament," gazeta.ru quotes Nalyvaychenko.

2500 employees were fired in February 2014.
