Two Russian aircrafts evacuate 300 people from Yemen
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe press attaché of the Russian Embassy in Yemen, Timofei Bokov, says that two Russian aircraft have departed from Sana'a toward Moscow, carrying more than 300 people, 70 of them Russians.
"Two planes have departed to Moscow from Sana'a, carrying more than 300 people," he said, adding that 70 of them are Russian citizens and the majority of the evacuees are citizens of the CIS.
"They are citizens of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, mostly physicians who were working there on contracts. It is expected that the aircraft will arrive in Moscow tonight," TASS quotes Bokova, adding that in the near future the Russian Embassy in Yemen will organize another evacuation of the few Russian citizens who still remain in Sana'a.
