Russian Air Defense (PVO) is able to detect any air target, including stealth bombers. This was said today by the Deputy Commander of the Russian Air and Space Defense, Major-General Kirill Makarov.

"Invisibility of air attack does not exist for us today. Let the citizens of our country be reassured," TASS quotes his words spoken on the radio station "Russian News Service."

Makarov adds that during a confrontation between NATO and Yugoslavia in 1999 an American stealthbomber F-117  was destroyed by the air defense system of the Soviet Union, production, and modern technology can  cope with it even more easily.
