Ramzan Kadyrov heads World Chechen Congress

The delegates at the World Chechen Congress have elected the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, as Secretary-General of the Congress, RIA Novosti reports.

The participants in the meeting have also accepted the Charter of the Congress and approved the presidium. The next meeting of the congress will take place in Grozny in three years.

Over 1000 people participated in the forum, at which political, economic and cultural questions were discussed.
