Iranian soldiers killed on Pakistan border

Eight Iranian border guards were killed in a clash with rebels who had infiltrated from neighbouring Pakistan.

There was a second incident reported from the region earlier on Monday. Iran's Revolutionary Guards killed and detained members of a militant group linked to a foreign intelligence agency, also confiscating weapons and communications equipment, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the IRGC.
