Georgian village evacuated due to liquid oxygen spill

The population of a village near the Rikoti Tunnel was evacuated due to a spill of liquid oxygen as a result of a tanker crash on the E60 'Vostok-Zapad' highway. Fire-fighters and rescuers are operating in the area. The highway was closed, Gazeta.ru reports.

The liquid oxygen was removed before an explosion could happen. The highway has been reopened.
