Kazakhstan doesn't accept development of military scenario in Yemen

Kazakhstan doesn't accept the development of a military scenario in Yemen and supports a political solution as the only right way to resolve the crisis, Kazakhstan’s foreign ministry said.

The ministry said Kazakhstan, as a part of the international community, expresses its concern over the escalation of international tension in the Middle East, including the situation in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Yemen.“Kazakhstan is consistent in its support of the principles of respect for territorial integrity, sovereignty and legally elected authorities,” News-Kazakhstan cited the ministry’s statement.On March 26, an international coalition with the participation of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries, as well as Egypt, Jordan and Sudan, are holding a military operation in Yemen against supporters of the ‘Ansar Allah’ movement, who control most of the country, including the capital Sana’a.
