Kiev to continue the economic blockade of Donbass

A Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Evgeni Perebiynis, said that Kiev will not transfer funds to areas outwith the control of the government of Ukraine.

"We are currently not able to transfer money to the Donbass, where terrorists have captured all financial institutions. They will not give that money to people, and will use it to conduct war. We cannot finance terrorism, we must ensure that the money will be received by people," he stressed.

Perebiynis said that it is very hard to live in Donbass now and civilians are trying to flee the region. "There are people there, but only a very few of them, because many have left for the territory controlled by the government of Ukraine,"  RIA Novosti cited him.
