Fire at Kizlyar mosque was caused by abundance of fuel
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaDespite the swift arrival of fire-fighters to the burning Central Mosque in Kizlyar in just four minutes, the building has practically burned down, as stated by Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies in Dagestan, Oleg Khalilov, Interfax-South reports.
The two-floor building with an area of 50x50m had an excessive amount of fuel stored. Specialists of the Makhachkala Fire Laboratory are investigating the causes of the fire.
The fire was reported at 8.45am, it was contained at 9.15am and put out at 9.45am. No one was injured.
