Head of Dzhankojsky Customs Department arrested for bribery

In Crimea, FSB officers have detained the head of the customs post of Dzhankoi.

An official of the customs post on the border with Ukraine, Imil Gafarov, was detained while taking a bribe of smuggled goods from neighboring Ukraine, according to TASS citing a source.

"A customs officer is suspected of receiving money for free importation of contraband goods into the territory of Crimea from Ukraine," the source said.

A criminal investigation was initiated into the case.
