Erdogan condemns Pope Francis

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reacted to Pope Francis's Messua, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the tragic events of 1915, represented by Armenia as 'the Armenian genocide'.

"The Pope's statement is unacceptable for Turkey. Religious positions are not places where unfounded claims are made and hatred is stirred," Erdogan posted on his Twitter page.
