Palestinian leader to visit Moscow on May 9

Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas confirmed his attendance at the upcoming celebrations in Moscow marking the 70th anniversary of Victory.

"I have repeatedly participated in such events. We shall be in Moscow on May 9 to celebrate the anniversary of victory over fascism together with the Russian people," Gazeta.ru cited him as saying.
