Nazarbayev to visit Iran this year

"President Rouhani signed the roadmap between the two countries on trade and economic collaboration during his visit to Kazakhstan. This year Kazakhstan plans to hold a regular meeting of the intergovernmental commission between Kazakhstan and Iran on trade-economic and cultural cooperation, this year a meeting of the Business Council will take place in Iran," Idrissov said in a joint press conference with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, RIA Novosti reports.
According to Idrissov, in the framework of the talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif the parties have discussed a set of issues.
In his turn, Zarif said that today our countries have good potential for cooperation. "We expect the visit of President Nazarbayev to Iran. We hope that this visit will contribute to the development of our relations. During the current visit to Astana we have considered various international and regional issues including the situation in Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. We compared our positions and expressed hope that the region will reach peace and stability," the Minister concluded.
