Russia will fulfill commitments on Akkuyu Nuclear Plant

The head of the Rosatom Corporation of Russia, Sergey Kiriyenko, said after talks with the Minister for Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey, Taner Yildizm, that Russia will fully realizes its obligations within the framework of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant construction. He noted that the first tranche 50 billion rubles had been received for the construction, part of the equipment had been purchased, TASS reports.The head of Rosatom noted that the construction was going according to schedule. An environmental impact assessment has been passed, according to Kiriyenko. Documents were filed to get a license on zoning the construction site.
