Turkish Stream to be built on the principle of diversification of routes

The Turkish Stream pipeline will be built on the model of diversifying transport routes, which will decrease the risk of gas transit, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said today during a conference titled  'Europe and Eurasia: Towards a new model of energy'.

"The Turkish Stream model, which is being realized today, is built on different principles. This is not a model of interdependence; this is a model of diversifying transport routes, which will decrease the risk of gas transit," Miller said.
