Erdogan's son fails to prove journalist guilty of slander
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaTurkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's son, Bilal, has lost the case against Cumhuriyet journalist Canan Coskun. The latter published an article in September 2014, accusing the president's offspring of corruption, putting pressure on the municipality using the Turkish fund for facilitation of education as a member of its board and illegal acquisition of a historic building in the center of Istanbul, RIA Novosti reports.
Bilal Erdogan dubbed the article slander and filed a lawsuit against the journalist, demanding compensation. The court has declared Canan Coskun innocent.
