Krasnodar functionary caught for graft

Deputy head of the Kurganinsky District of Krasnodar Territory is suspected of graft. According to investigators, the head of the agricultural department of the district offered to give a farmer a subsidy in exchange for a bribe of 1.5 million rubles in March 2015, Interfax reports.

On April 13, the businessman contacted the local investigators, resulting in detention of the functionary receiving the sum. A criminal case was initiated.
