Daewoo International to open steelworks in Turkmenistan

The Turkmen Ministry of Industry and Daewoo International (South Korea) signed a memorandum on the construction of steelworks for $1 billion in Turkmenistan within the framework of Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's visit to South Korea, Interfax reports.

POSCO Engineering and Construction (South Korea) is another potential participant of the project.
