Riga to hold talks between Presidents of Georgia and Latvia

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili, who is on an official visit to Latvia, will meet his Latvian counterpart Andris Berzins today.


"After the meeting the Presidents of Georgia and Latvia will lay flowers at the Monument of Freedom, after which Giorgi Margvelashvili will hold meetings with the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Latvia, Ināra Mūrniece and the Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma," Georgia-News cited the press service of the head of state.


The President is also accompanied by Foreign Minister Tamar Beruchashvili; the Minister of Culture Mikheil Giorgadze, Agriculture Minister Otar Danelia, State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, David Bakradze, Secretary of Georgia's National Security Council, Irina Imerlishvili, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Georgia, Kakha Baindurashvili, as well as advisers to the President and the head of the presidential administration.
