Mogherini: EU countries are superpower

The EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, stated that the EU represents a power which need to create peace incentives and sanction those that threaten the global order to achieve long-term solutions.

In her speech in the Netherlands, she touched upon the situations in Ukraine, Libya and Iran."Together we are a superpower. We now need to connect the dots and think for the long term. If we want lasting solutions, we need to combine fast action with patient negotiations; we need to sanction those that threaten the global order and create incentives for working together towards peace," RIA Novosti cited Mogherini as saying.
