Azerbaijan and Turkey to cooperate in social protection

Azerbaijan and Turkey have signed a protocol on cooperation in the fields of labour, social protection and employment at the 8th session of their Permanent Commission for Cooperation in the Field of Social Protection, abc.az reports.

The sides discussed the work stipulated by the protocol signed at the 7th session of the Commission and events held by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the European Union in the field of social protection in Baku.

The protocol stipulates mutual informing about laws and amendments on labour, employment and social protection. They will collaborate to form a national information system of norms and standards for protection of labour, regulation of labour migration, development of the social insurance system and cooperate in other activities.
