Gazprom receives prepayment for gas supply to Ukraine

Gazprom has received a prepayment for gas supplies to Ukraine.

Gazprom has received $20 million from Ukrainian Naftogaz as a prepayment for April's supply of Russian gas, Sergei Kupriyanov, official representative of Gazprom said.

 
"Naftogaz of Ukraine paid another $20 million as a prepayment. Today we received the money," RIA Novosti reports.

At the beginning of April, Naftogaz remited $30 million to Gazprom for April's supply and another $20 million on the 9th of April. At the current price of gas for Ukraine this amount is enough for 200 million cubic meters.
