Kerry to discuss policy regarding Russia at NATO summit

US Secretary of State John Kerry said at a meeting with Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu that the situation around Russia and the Ukrainian crisis will be high on the agenda at the NATO ministerial meeting in Turkey’s Antalya in May.


The Secretary of State confirmed he will participate in the meeting scheduled for May 13-14.Kerry added that one of the main priorities is Russian aggression against Ukraine. "The threat that is posed by violent extremists to NATO’s south" will also be discussed at the meeting, the US secretary of state noted.Cavusoglu, in his turn, said that "this is a critical time for our region – in the Middle East and Ukraine, and also around the Black Sea."
