Israel does not view events of 1915 as genocide

 

Israeli Ambassador Rafael Harpaz said that Israel considered the events happening in the Ottoman Empire in 1915 a tragedy, but not a genocide of Armenians, 1news.az reports.The diplomat assured that Israel fully backed the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group to settle the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
