Baku public transport switches to single payment system

Baku's underground and overground public transport is transferring to a single payment system.

The Baku Metro press service's head, Nasimi Pashayev, said that the unified payment system will be applied to Baku underground and buses of the Bakubus company under the Baku Executive Authority, abc.az reports.

"New payment devices have already been installed at several metro stations. A special processing center prints metro and bus cards," Pashayev said.
The switch to a single system is planned in the coming days.
