Libya stopped oil production at the country's largest oil field

Libya has stopped oil production at the country's largest oil field.

Libya decided to suspended its production at the country's largest oil field, El Feel (Elephant). The reason of the decision is not reported.

The Field, the productivity of which is estimated at 100 thousand barrels a day, belongs to the joint venture formed by the National Oil Corporation of Libya (NOC) and Italian Eni, lenta.ru reports with reference to Reuters.

Libya has already had to close the ild field at the end of the last year, when the protesting group was against the self-proclaimed government in Tripoli. The pipeline was closed and blocked El Feel and neighboring oil field El Sharara.
