Kiev urges world to impose sanctions against Putin

Ukraine’s Rada speaker Vladimir Groysman has signed a decree recommending to impose individual sanctions against Russian President Vladimir Putin.


The parliament recommends to impose sanctions on 35 individuals who, according to Rada deputies, are linked to the custody of Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko, Gazeta.ru reports.The list of recommended persons for sanctions includes Investigative Committee (IC) head Alexander Bastyrkin, Federal Security Service director Alexander Bortnikov, IC spokesman Vladimir Markin.
