New Russian minister of agriculture predicts up to 120 million tons of grain harvest a year

The new Russian Minister of Agriculture, Alexander Tkachev, has set a goal to increase grain harvest to 110-120 million tons a year. He expects grain consumption to rise via the internal demand for it and exports, RIA Novosti reports.In 2014, Russia collected a record of 105.3 million tons of grain. The forecasts for 2015 are 100 tons of grain.
