The founding congress of the 'Civil Accord' initiative will convene on May 30 in the Elite Plaza business center in Yerevan, initiative group member Arayik Harutyunyan said.

He noted that the agenda of the congress is not complete, but the key issue will be whether the initiative should become a political party. “If this decision is made, the charter and platform will be approved, there will be board elections,” NEWS.am cited Harutyunyan as saying.

Seven people, including former MP Sasun Mikayelyan and MP Nikol Pashinyan, have been elected members of the governing board of the Civil Accord initiative.
