Iranian president confident that western countries will try to improve ties with Iran

Western countries will apologize to Iran and will request an improvement of ties, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said at a meeting with families of victims of the Iran-Iraq war (1980-1988), Trend reports, citing Press TV.

Last week Ahmadinejad made his first official visit to Lebanon, where he met officials and made a speech to the Lebanese people. Israel and the USA expressed concern at the visit, calling it a political provocation.
