Kyrgyz parliament considers candidacy of new prime minister
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe majority coalition of the Kyrgyz Parliament, which includes lawmakers from the Ata-Meken (Fatherland) and Ar-Namys (Dignity) parties, has decided to nominate the Acting Minister of Economy, Temir Sariyev, to the post of the Prime Minister.
"In the first half of the day the question will be discussed by relevant committees. After dinner it will be delivered to the consideration of all deputies," TASS cited the press service of the legislature.
Prime Minister Joomart Otorbaev resigned last week. By the decision of the President of the country, Almazbek Atambayev, the previous government headed by Otorbaev will temporarily perform the duties until a new cabinet is formed.
