Kim Jong-un to miss Moscow Victory Parade

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has cancelled his trip to Moscow on May 9 to attend the Victory Parade, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

“Kim Jong-un made a decision to remain in Pyongyang. He can’t attend the Victory Day parade, we were told through diplomatic channels that this has to do with domestic affairs,” Interfax cited Peskov as saying.

According to Peskov, there are no planned meetings between the leaders of Russia and the DPRK.
