Poroshenko to skip CIS meeting in Moscow on May 8

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will not attend an informal Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) meeting of heads of states in Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

The Kremlin spokesman said that other leaders from the CIS may also not make it to the meeting because of their schedules. According to him, it is a personal choice of each CIS leader to decide on their participation in the meeting.
