Chechen leader denies ever wanting to become politician

Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov said in an interview with Govorit Moskva that he would rather be a businessman than a politician and would not want his children to follow in his steps, RIA Novosti reports.

Kadyrov added that he would have gone insane if he were a functionary, the minister of the interior or a member of the government.

As for his children, the Chechen leader noted that he will encourage them to pursue military careers if necessary.

Kadyrov has three sons and five daughters. They all know the Quran by heart. The Chechen leader assures that people with such knowledge of the Quran would never do bad deeds.
