Militant blows himself up in Kizilurt

A man who was on the federal wanted list as a militant extremist blew himself up on Saturday when he was approached by police on Malaguseynov Street in Kizilyurt. As a result of the explosion he died on the spot.

None of the police officers was hurt. The man was a resident of Dagestan, born in 1984, who had been on the federal wanted list since 2012.
