Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry: The phrase "people of Nagorno-Karabakh" is unacceptable

Spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev commented today on the statement of the OSCE Minsk Group and the US State Department in connection with the unlawful "parliamentary elections" in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, highlighting the unacceptability of the phrase "people of Nagorno-Karabakh."

Hajiyev stressed that the concept of "the people of Nagorno-Karabakh" simply does not exist. There are only Azeri, now expelled from their lands, and Armenian communities in the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan.
