The Public Union 'Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan' has spread a special statement that strongly condemns tomorrow's "parliamentary election’’ on the occupied territories of the so-called Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh.

It is noted that such actions violate the Constitution and laws of the country, the rules and principles of international law and ignores the rights of Azerbaijanis who historically lived there.

According to the document, legitimate elections in Nagorno-Karabakh can be held only after the complete withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from these territories and the return of historical Azerbaijani territories in order to provide peaceful coexistence of the Azerbaijani and Armenian communities in the area, Trend reports.
