Putin ratified Russian-Chinese gas deal

Putin has ratified a Russian-Chinese gas deal.

According to the official portal of legal information, Russian President Vladimir Putin ratified the agreement on gas supplies to China by the eastern route, concluded on the 13th of October in 2014.

"To ratify the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of China on cooperation in natural gas supplies from the Russian Federation to the Chinese Peoples Republic by the eastern route," RIA Novosti quotes the document signed by Vladimir Putin.

This agreement regulates passing of equipment and personnel across the Russian-Chinese border and also realizing orders of customs operations, movement of transport and equipment across the border, as well as construction supplies for design and survey works, construction and operation of a cross-border gas pipeline across the Amur River.
