Legendary London cabs repainted in honour of European games

Due to the start of ticket sales for the upcoming European Games that take place from the 12th to the 28th of June, popular London cabs that serve Baku citizens and visitors of the Azerbaijani capital were repainted in new colors.
In the organizers’ opinion, these taxis will be able to bring more attention to the event and also arouse additional interest.
"We are glad that the London-style taxis are a symbol of the European Games that start on the 12th of June. With the help of them this event is becoming more popular,’’ Trend cites Simon Clegg, Director General for Operations BEGOC.
He also expressed his satisfaction with the number of tickets sold. "We are pleased that so many people will support the Azerbaijani team," Simon Clegg said.
