Explosions in the center of Baghdad kill 17 people

At least 17 people were killed in two explosions last night in a busy shopping area in central Baghdad.

According to the police, as a result of the first explosion seven people were killed, ten more were the victims of the second. There are also reports about dozens of injured. Medical sources on condition of anonymity confirmed the information about the victims.

None of the groups operating in the region have taken responsibility for the attack.
