1945 balloons of Victory launched into the sky

The Launching In the Sky flashmob in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Victory was held today in Moscow. At the Exhibition Center, near the Stone Flower fountain, residents of Moscow and visitors to the capital launched 1945 white balloons into the sky.
Even rain did not prevent the flashmob. The balloons were launched simultaneously into the Moscow sky, TASS reports.
According to the press service of the Exhibition Center, in honor of the holiday a lot of intersection events on the exhibition area will be held. On the 9th of May in the Green Theater the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Fedoseyev, artistic director and chief conductor, will present the program ‘‘Let’s bow to those great years..." The performance is dedicated to the anniversary of the Victory. The program includes all the favorite and most well-known songs of the military and post-war period. The same day Dmitri Hvorostovsky performed war songs at the Central Pavilion.
