Kerry to visit Saudi Arabia

US Secretary of State John Kerry is to visit Saudi Arabia and France for talks on regional security.

Kerry, who is currently in Kenya and heads next to Djibouti, will then travel to Riyadh on Wednesday before going on to Paris, RIA Novosti reports.

According to US State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf, John Kerry will meet "with foreign ministers from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to discuss shared regional priorities and security cooperation".
