Russia's agricultural surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor has declined to allow 18.3 tons of kiwifruit to pass from Iran to Dagestan at the Yarag-Kazmalyar Crossing Post. The phytosanitary certificate presented was false, violating the law on quarantine rules, Region Online reports.

After an inspection, the consignment of fruit was returned to Iran.
