Ex-deputy of National Assembly of Armenia suspected in conspiracy to murder colleague

Last night Gohar Yenokyan, a former MP of the National Assembly of Armenia, a close friend of the mother of the ex-leader of the party, Gagik Tsarukyan, was arrested on suspicion that she took part in the preparation of a murder, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.

The lawyer of the 73-year-old, Gegham Hakobyan, said that the entire matter is a fabrication, Epress.am reports.

Prosperous Armenia Party President Naira Zohrabyan has visited the detention center and said that Yenokyan is in poor health and should be removed from detention pending final charges.
