May 1 protesters accused of terrorism in Turkey

24 activists involved in the May 1 protests in Istanbul have been accused of terrorism, storage of explosives and destruction of public property, Interfax reports.

The police used tear gas and water cannons to crackdown on the demonstration. Over 360 people were detained.
