Maersk Tigris to get freedom only by court's decision

The Maersk Tigris container ship, which was seized by Iran over a week ago, will be released only after a decision of an Iranian court, the deputy director of Iran's Ports and Sailing Organization, Hadi Haghshenas, said.

"This ship has been detained in the Persian Gulf on the basis of a court's decision. The court only can cancel or change the decision," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.

Haghshenas also confirmed information that the ship is still in the Iranian port.
